Dear Intersted Fundraiser,

On behalf of our staff, volunteers, and the women served by the American Breast Cancer Foundation, I would like to thank you for your interest in sponsoring a fundraising event to support ABCF's mission to provide a fighting chance to those lives threatened by breast cancer through early detection and treatment. 

Until a cure is discovered, our best hope in the fight against breast cancer is early detection.  The five-year survival rate after early stage diagnosis and treatment is over 90%.  Despite this we are still losing over 3000 women a month to breast cancer. Too many are lost due to fear, misinformation and limited access to care. There is no reason for breast cancer to continue claiming so many lives.

The American Breast Cancer Foundation is a registered non-profit 501(C) 3 charity organization and is held accountable to the public and government for all fundraising activities conducted in its name.  The most precious and valuable asset of a nonprofit organization is its reputation; preservation of public trust is essential to the existence of the organization. It is for this reason that we require an agreement signed by both parties that outlines the event activities, the projected funds to be raised, and grants permission for the use of ABCF's name and/or logo for your event/promotion.
