News-Celebrating our 10th Anniversary

American Breast Cancer Foundation Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

By: ABCF Staff

Key to Life, an Evening of Celebration is presented to recognize a decade of outstanding community service by the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF). This phenomenal Baltimore based organization has, in ten years, grown to lead a national grass roots effort to provide assistance to individuals in need throughout communities across America.

ABCF’s Key to Life Breast Cancer Screening Assistance Program educates millions of women each year that their chance for surviving breast cancer may be as high as 95% with early detection and treatment. The Key to Life Program provides mammograms, diagnostic tests, biopsy assistance and emergency treatment grants to uninsured and underinsured individuals to reach diagnosis and begin treatment. Grants, support services and referrals will be provided to over ten thousand patients and their families in this year alone.

“While this cause is serious, we promise an uplifting celebration of life filled with good friends and good food,” states Phyllis Wolf, president of the ABCF. “The ABCF looks forward to celebrating breast cancer survivors, and to another decade of supporting those in need.”

Photos and a recap of the night’s events can be found here.
