Paul “Jacky” Loube
Treasurer
Previous to joining the Board as a Treasurer, Jacky Loube was CEO of ABCF. He brings a breadth of management experience, as well as a sound background in the non-profit community. Previous to joining ABCF he was the Executive Director of the International Basketball Officials Association and president of its charitable and educational foundation. His innovative ideas led to the creation of a nationally and internationally recognized brand, the development of programs and corporate sponsorships, as well as a strategy and plan to meet and achieve association goals.
As director of basketball for Special Olympics International, Jacky was responsible for the development of all the U.S. Special Olympics basketball programs and for the expansion of basketball programs into new Special Olympic countries. A technical delegate and consultant, Jacky has supervised the basketball venues at five Special Olympic World Games, the most recent in Athens, Greece. Jacky served eight years as the first director and arbitrator for the Community Arbitration Program in Maryland, a program designed to permit first-time juvenile offenders of crimes to divert their charges from formal court proceedings.
Jacky received his JD degree from The American University, Washington College of Law, and a BA in Political Science and Speech from the University of Maryland.
