Marshalee George, Ph.D

Medical Advisory Board Member

 

Dr. Marshalee George has over 22 years of extensive combined clinical experience managing patient’s health cancer screenings, chronic diseases, breast cancer treatment, and survivorship.  High-risk surveillance for at-risk individuals for breast cancer, mental health needs of individuals, and health disparities research. Dr. George is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in oncology, Primary care, and Psychiatry. 

Dr. George received her master’s degree in Nursing, specializing in oncology, at the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving her Doctorate in Public Health, Dr. George completed a 3- year program at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, focused on reducing health and cancer disparities in underserved and vulnerable populations. She has authored numerous articles and most recently co-authored the latest edition of “Detecting and Living with Breast Cancer for Dummies,” with fellow Medical Advisory Board member, Dr. Kimlin Ashing.
