Mindy Berry boasts a rich tapestry of professional experience spanning decades and diverse sectors. Notably, she served as Special Advisor to the Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), spearheading the nationally acclaimed initiative “A More Perfect Union,” which commemorated the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Prior to this, she held pivotal roles such as Vice President of External Relations at The Conference Board and Executive Vice President of the American Revolution Center, later rebranded as The Museum of the American Revolution. Her contributions extend to overseeing NEH’s largest program, Picturing America, a transformative educational initiative engaging millions of students, teachers, and parents in American history and culture through textual and visual imagery.
With a profound commitment to the public good, Mindy’s career also includes significant stints at esteemed institutions such as the National Endowment of the Arts, the United States Department of Labor, Georgetown University, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and has augmented her expertise through programs in international law and economics at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science. Beyond her professional endeavors, Mindy remains actively engaged in shaping educational landscapes, serving on multiple advisory boards. She is a prolific author, having penned various publications, and her editorial prowess shines through her work in crafting a comprehensive legal manual on the charitable activities of American Indian Tribes.
